There’s a little story behind this classic and timeless selection. Almost 2 decades ago —long before Bollywood violin was a thing at weddings— One day, after a concert, a fan came up to me and asked if I could put together a string quartet to play Bollywood music at his wedding. He said it would make his day truly unforgettable.

His name is Raj and he is a doctor. He handed me a CD, I spent the next month arranging the music for two violins, one viola, and a guitar. (I felt a traditional cello just couldn’t do justice to those wonderful-upbeat Bollywood rhythms.)

Since we were among the first to offer this kind of service, it’s no surprise that many other quartets have followed our repertoire. So if you spot some familiar song titles elsewhere, this is why. But no one else has our original backing track or our unique instrument arrangements.
